Security & Privacy: Our Commitment

Why does Drop Responder require permissions to access my Google account?

Drop Responder is an application that sits on top of Gmail and integrates directly with it.

In order to integrate with your email, we ask for your permission to connect to your Google account and authenticate that connection via Google Apps OAuth.

We request access to the following Google APIs to provide our core features:

  • Gmail: Because Drop Responder is closely integrated with email, we use these fundamental permissions for our email tracking, replying, mail merge, and other automation features.
  • Google Drive: Drop Responder allows you to attach and copy files from your Google Drive in our CRM.

We never make any changes to your Gmail or Drive without your explicit permission.

Drop Responder does not, and will never, sell or trade personal information about anyone who uses our services.

What information do we collect?

We only collect the basic information we need to provide a functional CRM and user experience. We never store or analyze the contents of your email conversations or files. Instead, this data is fetched via the Gmail API only upon request.
